Take your e-spinner setup to the next level with this custom-designed base for the EEW 6.x. Designed for both portability and functionality, this base combines several key features and usability improvements over the standard base that comes with the e-spinner.

The secure tripod mount built right into the base allows you to attach your EEW to any standard camera tripod for a stable, ergonomic, and adjustable spinning experience. No more worrying about whether you'll have a table available at the right height, having to tote around your own folding table, or carrying your e-spinner in a heavy, rigid case to use as a spinning platform.

The battery itself is turned to the right relative to its usual placement, making the charge status indicator lights visible without having to look around to the back of the e-spinner. This also makes the power switch on the battery more accessible and easy to find. Once you get the power cable and foot switch set up, it's just spin and spin and spin. Please note that the battery cubby is sized for the TalentCell 12V 3000mAh and I can't guarantee other models of battery will fit.

A small cubby next to the battery is the perfect size for spare parts, spare orifice hooks, orifice reducers, and any other small accessory you want to carry with your EEW. Anti-slip nubs on all four corners of the bottom surface help your e-spinner stay put when placed on a flat surface.

The mounting bolts thread into embedded nylon-lined lock nuts for a secure and consistent grip on the base of the EEW. This provides a fully customizable fit, whether you prefer the base to slide on and off easily or want it to stay on no matter what. Unlike the original screws that thread into the plastic base included with the EEW, these bolts won't loosen on their own and the threads won't lose their grip on the plastic over time. Simply use a Phillips-head screwdriver to adjust the bolts.

Small ridges on either side of the base help you align the e-spinner with the mounting bolts, and also help keep it securely in place while in use or traveling.

This will fit the EEW 6.0 and 6.1 and all other e-spinners that use the same base.

Made from industrially and municipally compostable PLA plastic. Please remove all bolts, nuts, accessories, and fiber before composting.

Extremely pleased!

This is my second order from Stephanie, and I couldn't be happier with the base - it's dramatically nicer than the custom base I ordered from my other EEW accessory printshop (the standard base design Maurice created, but I'd had a new base printed in silky peachy pink) - the old base was perfectly functional, but being able to see the charge level on my battery is a huge advantage... AND because it's a wider base, it SIGNIFICANTLY lowered vibration and noise when I spin cotton on really high speeds with my lace bobbin kit (which I also special ordered from Stephanie in a matching pink).

Stephanie ran into some challenges with the different type of filament I'd asked her to use, and she ended up going above and beyond out of pocket on her own time to get the print done perfectly. I was not expecting that at all. I wish she'd reached out to me sooner so I could've worked out a solution with her that didn't cause so much trouble for her (this base is truly excellent and she's probably not charging enough for it because she's newer to printing espinner accessories - she's obviously very skilled with designing 3D fiber craft toys (I mean tools, lol) and printing in several different ways/materials best suited for the type of structures she's making, but I feel very lucky to have landed on her Etsy shop a couple months ago while looking for add-ons for my EEW 6.1.
