When creating a self-closing mock ring for your next tatting project, simply rest the SCMR holder in the thread loop to:
hold the loop open and prevent it from closing accidentally
prevent your thread from twisting on itself
prevent hand cramps now that you no longer need to hold the loop open with a finger
Suitable for both shuttle tatting and needle tatting, the SCMR holder is lightweight and compact to fit in any tatting bag or caddy. Tabs on either end of the tool help keep the thread in place while the tool is in use, and a built-in loop allows you to attach a jump ring for a lanyard or chatelaine. (Jump ring, lanyard, or chatelaine not included.)

98% Satisfied. Two things I would change: make the bottom drawer about 1-inch deeper, and either use stronger magnets or add a second method to insure a section does not come off and get lost when transporting. I LOVE IT!!!
