Manos exisits to support the work of hundreds of artisan dyers, knitters, and weavers, and to guarantee their livelihoods and that of their families.

Every purchase supports female artisans from rural Uruguay. Every skein of yarn has a tag with the artisan's signature and the name of the village where the cooperative is located. This helps remind us that behind each poncho, throw, or scarf, there is a woman, a story.
