Bring precision and symmetry to your latest project with this polar grid template, an essential tool for tatting, lace crochet, and other circular designs. With circular grid lines spaced evenly at 1/2" intervals in black and 1/4" intervals in light gray as well as radial rays. this template makes it easy to plan, measure, and align your motifs with professional accuracy.
The polar grid helps you center your work, maintain even spacing and thread tension, and double-check your design work. Find where the ruffling or cupping is happening easily by matching up the rays with your design's repeats. Whether you're creating doilies, medallions, or mandala-inspired lace, this template gives your creativity structure and reliability without limiting your imagination.
Once your work is finished, use the template as a guide to make sure everything is in place during blocking. Dampen the thread, position it on the template, poke and prod to your heart's content, and let it dry in place! No need to worry about design elements shifting around when transferring it to a towel to dry, or printer ink from paper templates bleeding into your thread.
Available with different numbers of rays depending on your needs, this template is a practical addition to any crafting toolkit and ideal for designers, hobbyists, and beginners alike.
These templates are printed in high quality, eco-friendly, industrially compostable PLA plastic. Templates are only available in the white, light gray, and black color palette at this time; if you need a different color palette, please send me a message and I'll be happy to help.
