Whether you’re a fan of helix tatting or just want a way to tame the ever-growing pile of shuttles, this shuttle caddy helps you keep them organized and ready for your next project. Its sturdy construction and large, flat base make it stable on any surface. Easily store several shuttles and your work in progress or a ball of thread.

The ShuttleShip features rigid PLA plastic with a smooth, contoured shape that makes it easy to pick up and move around even with arthritis. Molded-in, tapered shuttle slots set shuttles on their edges instead of their tips to prevent dulling, blunting, and bending.

Each shuttle slot is sized to fit commonly available shuttles, and can comfortably accommodate shuttles of up to  1/2” x 7/8” (19mm x 23mm) for S models and up to 3/4” x 1 1/8” (21mm x 31mm) for M models. The center cubby for the S8, S12, and M8 can fit a ball of Size 10 Lisbeth thread comfortably, or other balls up to 2 1/4” (58mm) in diameter. The ShuttleShips vary in diameter, but are all 2 3/4" (76mm) tall.

These ShuttleShips are fully functional but have some cosmetic flaws (burbles or globs in the finish, significant discoloration, a cat hair got stuck in it, etc). They work as intended, but are less attractive. I don't intentionally produce lower-quality products, so these will only be "in stock" when there is a printing issue.

These caddies are printed in high quality, eco-friendly, industrially compostable PLA plastic. Please remove all belongings before composting.
